Hydrangea anomala subsp. petiolaris ‘Miranda’ is an eye-catching semi-evergreen climbing hydrangea. It is slow growing making it ideal for smaller gardens if kept trimmed. Fragrant white flowers bloom in summer, a centre cluster of small, airy flowers are surrounded by rings of larger flat four-pettelled flowers. Large dark green serrated heart-shaped variegated leaves have golden-yellow irregular margins which may fade to creamy white in summer. Mature plants have coppery brown peeling bark in winter providing extra seasonal interest.
