Always early to bloom, Alyssum 'Carpet of Snow' has a ground hugging habit that is perfect for rock gardens or cascading from crevices in walls. With a toughness that belies its delicate appearance, sweet alyssum is surprisingly wind tolerant and makes a useful plant in coastal areas.
