Since time immemorial weather vanes haven been used to indicate the direction of the wind. The most common type of weather vane has a rooster on top. This weather vane can be placed in two ways, in the ground with the supplied ground pin or on the wall with the supplied mounting bracket. This way you can always choose the right spot. Including ground pin and mounting bracket. The weathervane may not be attached to a roof/wall of a house which is higher than 3 meters (9.8 feet), as it will not withstand very strong winds.

I do like it but you have to be careful where you site it as it gets lost against anything coloured green. Best against the sky
