Sowing Info
Direct sow seed outdoors where they are to grow from August to September, or in Spring from February to April. Choose a weed free position in full sun on reliably moist, well drained soil which has been raked to a fine tilth. Sow carrot seeds thinly at a depth of 1cm (½in). Germination will take 10 to 20 days. When large enough to handle, thin out the seedlings to 10cm (4in) apart.
