EARLY SNOWDROPS (Galanthus Nivalis)

First to Bloom, Even in Snow!

Galanthus Nivalis, commonly known as Early Snowdrops, are the first to bring delicate blooms to your garden, often emerging even while snow lingers. These snowdrops are ideal for planting in rock gardens, under trees, along walkways, or anywhere you want to add early spring charm.

We supply large bulbs size 5+, which are grown for us in a commercial forest in Europe, in conditions suited to producing bulbs that establish quickly and flower better. They are proven to perform much better than smaller, cheaper bulbs.

Key Features:

  • Early Bloomer: Brings cheerful blooms to your garden at the earliest signs of spring.
  • Versatile: Perfect for rock gardens, under trees, and along pathways.
  • Large Bulbs: Size 5+ bulbs ensure quicker establishment and better flowering compared to smaller bulbs.
  • Proven Performance: Grown in optimal conditions in a commercial forest in Europe for robust growth and reliable flowering.

Planting & Care Instructions:

  1. Planting Time: Plant bulbs in autumn for early spring blooms.
  2. Soil Type: Prefers well-drained soil enriched with organic matter.
  3. Depth and Spacing: Plant bulbs approximately  5-8 cm deep and space them 5-8 cm apart for naturalizing.
  4. Sunlight: Part shade to full shade is ideal.
  5. Naturalizing: Allow bulbs to naturalize over time for a larger display in subsequent years.

Enjoy the beauty and resilience of Early Snowdrops in your garden this spring!

Ordered my snowdrops and collected them in the warehouse. They are lovely big bulbs and very firm. Love,y lady in the warehouse also gave me a free gift of more bulbs, which I wasn't aware of and I was delighted to receive them. So thank you so much for a great service. Really looking forward to seeing the snowdrops in full flower.

I just love snowdrops. They are the first sign of spring and they are so beautiful. They are value too and the bulbs were in brilliant condition. I just love them as they appear in small clumps in the garden and they stay out for ages. They are a fantastic buy.
