Early flowering with nectar -rich flowers, makes this plant a magnet for early bees. The broad sprays of small, white, delicate-looking star-shaped flowers are a delight in early spring as they make a dramatic contrast to the large, heart-shaped, deep green leaves which are every bit as attractive as the flowers.
